If only the news organization at this newspaper (The NYTimes) had the courage to blare out the news on the front page, above the fold. Good grief. What will it take for them wake up and call a cup of coffee a cup of coffee? Good headline? TRUMP AND ELON MUSK ARE TAKING OVER THE GOVERNMENT BY UNLAWFUL MEANS Or how about this? AS A CONVICTED FELON, TRUMP IS IN VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION. Doesn't an old lady like the Times need to scream out the news that they are attempting to destroy the rule of law? Milquetoasting is normal. None of this is normal. Besides that, the entire first section of the paper should spell it all out not just once, but every week. IMHO.

Cover the USAID dismantling by giving us the truth about what it is, really. The impacts to farmers in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, for instance. Firing the NLRB chair because the union in PA’s Whole Food markets voted for a union. Poor Bezos. Now he can’t recognize the budding union movement because the NLRB only has two members and it is requirement that three members are needed to be legal.

To be legal? That’s quaint. While the administration rides roughshod over the government, a quorum isn’t seated?

This is where we are at. It now rests, this democracy, on the judiciary? Oh, my. you mean where the titular head of it resides with this Supreme Court? Roberts and his band of mischief makers are one group I have zero confidence at this moment of do or die. Perhaps the people should all turn up at the Supreme Court’s front door and demand they meet now and put an end to the destruction of the rule of law this administration is implementing thanks in part to their ruling about Presidential immunity. Don’t forget, this Roberts court also gave us Citizens United, it gutted the Civil Rights Act and it won’t even adopt ethic rules. A slap in the face to all Americans. All that signaled to the oligarchs that they would get preferential treatment by this end-of-the-road court.
